The law requires patients receiving acupuncture to give informed consent before treatment. Informed consent is for the patient to be advised of the credentials of the practitioner(s) and the scope of the practice of acupuncture in the State of Washington. The practitioner, Dr. Shannon Freeman D.Ac., L.Ac., EAMP, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)®, is licensed in the State of Washington and North Dakota. She has over 35 years of experience in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Aid (private home care), Licensed Massage Therapist, and a former adjunct Traditional Chinese Medicine and 5 Element Theory instructor to the massage therapy program students. As stated by law, therapy acupuncturists in the State of Washington are allowed to use the methods listed below. This means that all these methods will be available for your treatment. Dr. Shannon will advise you before applying any of these methods and homework, and you always have the right to decline.
