Electroacupuncture
Traditional Acupuncture Enhanced with Gentle Electrical Stimulation
What is Electroacupuncture?
Electroacupuncture (EA) is a modern therapeutic enhancement of traditional acupuncture. After fine, sterile needles are gently inserted, a small, comfortable electrical current is passed between them using a gentle device.
The stimulation is very mild — most patients describe it as a subtle tapping or pulsing sensation that is relaxing and highly therapeutic.
